My Sisters House

A safe place for women coming out of incarceration is crucial for  successful reintegration into society, providing  the stability and support needed to rebuild lives. It fosters a sense of security and belonging, which is essential for healing and personal growth after the challenges of incarceration.

The New Bern Quilting Guild, led by President Pat Kruger, generously donates beautiful homemade quilts for each room sponsored at My Sisters House. These quilts serve as a comforting reminder of support for the women as they embark on their recovery. Each quilt is not only a warm addition to the rooms but also a cherished keepsake, symbolizing hope and healing.

Welcome to our facility, where we provide a safe and nurturing home for eight women after incarceration. Our dedicated staff is available 24/7 to offer support, guidance, and mentorship. We focus on creating personalized reentry plans that connect residents to essential services for sustainable and independent living, including opportunities for reunification with their children. Rooted in compassion, embrace women from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a supportive environment free from religious promotion.
